Yes why is the Mensch on the bench ? just ask Neal Hoffman. It was when he was shopping
with his son Jacob, and his son asked If they could buy a Elf on the Shelf and his reply was
Son we are Jewish and don't celebrate Christmas. And after some thought he said we can
purchase a Mensch on a Bench, for a Hanukkah Celebration, which there was no such Item
at the time, and his wheels starting turning, and now the Elf on the Self has a Jewish
counterpart and It's called "Mensch on a Bench", a thought turned reality
"HAPPY HANUKKAH"
