Taking Amtrak not only "SAVES YOU GAS MONEY", It keeps you away from heavy congestion and the race against the clock which causes tension and stress, by taking Amtrak you can save your gas money and ride in comfort and relaxation, So you can enjoy the views which are inspirational day or night, and you'll have plenty of time to put the finishing touches on your speech for that upcoming convention, which is a couple of hours away an impossible task if you're driving or you can work on your blog or maybe write a couple of poems your choice, again a difficult task if you're driving. Here's my take on the Uvalde School massacre where a crazed 18 year old mass murderer took the life's of 19 Students and 2 teachers with a semi automatic assault weapon (AR-15), It took over an hour for the many officers that arrived to take any action, It's a shame that there were so many armed officers and little action taken, to take out a single active shooter, I truly believe that there was lack of communication, lack of training, fear, No leadership, Confusion, Inexperienced officers, Poor decisions, and the list goes on, yes there's something definitely wrong when parents are willing to confront the shooter and rescue the students, but were kept from doing so by the many armed officers, approximately 400 that should've been inside taking out an active shooter, Instead were outside holding back the parents and citizens that wanted to go in and confront the shooter, Yes the officers eventually breached the door and took him out which took over an hour after the first officers arrived, mean time 19 students and 2 teachers met their demise by a crazed 18 year old shooter, And there's no doubt in my mind that at least 90 percent of those officers if not all that were there and did nothing or very little should be looking for a new job that's more fitting for them and on the same token they'll be doing the Town of Uvalde Texas and surrounding Towns (Cities) a big favor.
